About the Practice

We help healthcare organizations and mission-driven leaders build the operational, workforce, and compliance systems needed to function and grow under sustained pressure. For organizations, that means stabilizing operations, strengthening HR infrastructure, preparing for accreditation, and fixing revenue cycle breakdowns. For leaders, that means structured executive coaching through the GLS™ framework. Everything we do is grounded in one belief: most organizational problems aren’t people problems. They’re systems problems.

Our consulting work is primarily for HCBS providers, home health agencies, behavioral health organizations, and disability services providers navigating Medicaid compliance, accreditation, workforce challenges, or revenue cycle issues. Our coaching work is for healthcare administrators, executives, and leaders navigating burnout, role transitions, or organizational complexity. We also support SBEAP participants, founders, and small business owners through a separate startup advisory pathway. If you’re not sure whether we’re the right fit, schedule a free strategy call. We’ll tell you honestly.

Consulting is organizational work. We assess what’s breaking down, design the systems to fix it, and support implementation — working at the level of the organization. Coaching is individual leadership work. We work one-on-one with a leader to build the clarity, decision-making capacity, and accountability structures they need to lead more effectively. Some clients engage us for both — organizational consulting alongside individual coaching. We’ll tell you which makes sense for your situation on the strategy call.

Healthcare is our primary focus and deepest expertise — especially HCBS, Medicaid waiver services, and compliance-heavy environments. That said, we also work with nonprofits, founder-led businesses, and early-stage entrepreneurs through our startup advisory pathway. Our systems-first approach translates across sectors. If you’re outside healthcare and wondering if we’re the right fit, reach out — we’ll give you a straight answer.

Pricing & Scope

Most engagements begin with a free 30-minute strategy call, followed by a written proposal within 48 hours. From there, the 90-Day Systems Diagnostic involves an initial assessment (weeks 1–3), systems design and development (weeks 4–8), and implementation support with course-correction (weeks 9–12). You receive a 12-month operational roadmap you own permanently.

Most consultants advise from the outside. Oscar currently leads inside a complex Medicaid-funded healthcare organization in Indiana — the same kind of environment our clients are navigating. The systems we help you build are drawn from real-time operational leadership, not theoretical frameworks. That’s the difference.

Most do. Revenue cycle work commonly recovers more than the engagement cost through corrected billing and prevented denials. Compliance work prevents violations that can cost $5,000–$50,000+ in corrective action or survey failures. Workforce system improvements reduce turnover costs, which average $3,000–$10,000 per employee in the HCBS sector.

Start with the free HCBS Health Check or a free 30-minute strategy call. If you want more depth before committing, the Diagnostic Audit ($500–$1,500) includes a detailed written report and a results review call. Most clients find a clear path forward from there — including whether a full engagement is the right next step or not.

Local executive coaches in Indiana typically charge $150–$400 per hour. Oscar’s effective rate ranges from $250–$500/hour depending on the engagement, reflecting the GLS™ framework, 12+ years of healthcare operations experience, and Notre Dame EMBA credentials. Most clients compare this to the cost of a compliance violation, a failed survey, or another round of leadership turnover — and find the value clear.

Yes. All multi-month coaching and consulting programs include payment plan options. Coaching programs are typically structured as monthly payments over the program duration. Consulting engagements use a 50% deposit at signing with the balance tied to milestones. Contact us to discuss the structure that works for your organization.

We occasionally offer sliding scale rates in exceptional circumstances. We also offer group coaching programs at lower price points ($1,500 for 6 months), individual follow-up sessions at $75/45 minutes for SBEAP participants, and Oscar volunteers his time through the SBEAP program at no cost. If budget is a barrier, reach out — we’ll figure out if there’s a path.

Options include group coaching ($1,500 for 6 months), individual follow-up sessions ($75/45 min for SBEAP participants), payment plans across all programs, or asking about sliding scale rates for exceptional circumstances. We’re committed to finding a way to work with leaders who are serious about growth.

Getting Started

Yes. Most of the diagnostic and systems work can be done remotely. For engagements that benefit from on-site presence — particularly accreditation preparation and team alignment work — travel can be arranged. Rates and logistics are included in the written proposal.

Nothing formal. Come ready to talk about your situation — what’s working, what isn’t, and what feels most urgent. If you have a recent survey report, audit letter, or specific concerns you want to address, feel free to bring those. But don’t prepare anything just for us. The call is a real conversation, not a presentation.

No. We do not request, review, or retain any protected health information (PHI) as defined under HIPAA. Our work focuses on organizational systems, documentation structures, billing workflows, and compliance frameworks — not individual client records. If your organization requires a Business Associate Agreement (BAA), we can discuss that prior to engagement.

The 90-Day Systems Diagnostic runs approximately 3 months from signed agreement to final roadmap delivery. Targeted engagements (billing stabilization, accreditation prep, workforce systems) typically run 60–120 days depending on scope. Coaching programs run 90 days to 12 months depending on the program selected. All timelines are specified in the written proposal before you commit.
